Pretty decent radio ad by McCain using the celebrity theme that's been pretty effective to launch an attack against Obama's proposed spending.
So, what say you, Obamanites who have complained about Bush's deficit spending, will you complain just as loudly about Obama's?

yes, if he's president, i will. we need to pay down the deficit (my great grandchildren thank you, bush, for giving them something to work for other than their own prosperity). however, i urge people to check the facts. mccain's tax and economic plans will dip much deeper into the red than obama's. if you care about fiscal solvency and plan to vote for mccain, you may as well assume the position, because you're gonna get s c r e w e d by mccain.
will you, michele, give up praising mccain for continuing to misrepresent the truth (i.e. lie)?
multiple fact check websites have nailed mccain time and time again for his lies and misrepresentations on obama's tax plan and economic plan (and energy plan, and, and, and! it seems the straight talk express must have blown more than a few gaskets).
http://www.taxpolicycenter.org/publications/url.cfm?ID=411741 lays out all the numbers, charts, and analysis in an honest, straight-forward way:
... ...THE NATIONAL DEBT IS NEARLY $10 TRILLION.
$8 TRILLION OF THAT WAS RUN UP UNDER 'FISCAL CONSERVATIVES' REAGAN ,BUSH AND BUSH.
You Republicans have got no fiscal sense at all. You have a lot of nerve even bringing up this subject.
This is like getting a lecture on nonviolence from Jack the Ripper!
Did it hurt when they removed your sense of shame?
How are we going to pay for the debt owed to the People's Republic of China for the senseless war in Iraq? How are we going to pay for the Medicare of the uninsurable that McCain's proposal leaves behind? How are we going to pay for the "tax relief" for the corporations that send jobs overseas and shut down plants in America?
Mccain's lame plans only allow the rich to keep their wealth and leads us into National fiscal disaster. I am a proponent of "pay as you go" We had a balanced budget and a surplus eight years ago and now the National debt is the largest it has ever been. Even during the WWII we did not owe as we do now.
McCain's answer is not to pay, pass the buck and reward the rich for making us a poorer nation.
Everybody knows the economy began falling apart only after the Democrats retook the Congress. Everybody knows the longest boom in our nation's history took place under George W. Bush. Elect Republican Congressmen and John McCain and happy days will be here again. It's as simple as that. Case closed.
"How are we going to pay for the debt owed to the People's Republic of China for the senseless war in Iraq?"
well, iraq will make trillions selling their oil to china (that china buys with the money that wal*mart has traded for all the lead-painted plastic swords and squirt guns). in turn we will borrow the money back from iraq that we used to rebuild their country after we leveled it looking for those evasive WMDs. that money will be used to pay back china. at that point, president mccain will then invade iran, sending our military in with plastic swords and squirt guns purchased from wal*mart with money borrowed from afghanistan's booming opium market.
