Not a very rapid response! I would say they were taken by surprise, wouldn’t you? The best they’re coming up with is that she was a mayor of a small town with a population of less than 9,000. Isn’t that pretty big for an Alaskan town?

Question: what has more people, more diversity and more people out of jobs shipped over seas? The city of Chicago and its suburbs or the State of Alaska?
I really don’t know but I would think that it would be Chicago. That in my book would make Obama more qualified as a leader in troubled times.

Technically, doesn’t Palin have the most executive experience out of McCain, Obama, and Biden?

From watching CNN it seems that the focus has shifted from Obama to Palin’s inexperience. The gal from the Republican party wanted to bring up Obama and the CNN anchor would have none of it, she wanted to talk about Palin. And how ’bout the fact that she hasn’t been vetted by the national media at all. Think they’ll find anything? As an Obama supporter, I’m absolutely GIDDY about this. Have fun with this one!
However, if she’s going to be the first woman in the executive branch, I hope she’s everything that some are saying she is and is a good representative.

Judging from the comments here and in similar blogs, it appears McCain did make the right choice, but not to win over disaffected Hillary voters. To win over disaffected right-to-far-right Christians.
Who knows, maybe the media will find that Palin is as clean as the North Slope snow. Wouldn’t it be nice to discussing issues instead of personalities?

Three things to watch about Palin…
- misuse of the power of her office with regards to firing a trooper
- her husband being included in meetings between her and other state officials
- something very odd about her oldest daughter, the world’s longest case of mono, and the young child with Down’s Syndrome
Landmines on the way to the White House. Will they go off?

Oh, not every conservative is happy with this choice:

Didn’t seem to bother you when the Clintons fired the WH travel office and charge innocent people with theft. Look into that one further before you try to hang your hat on it.

Didn’t seem to bother you when HRC was trying to get nationalized medicine going, or using her First Lady position to become a senator.

Haven’t seen the first one, but what about, “Keep Chelsea out of it”? Those rules don’t apply anymore?
Hypocrisy on the way to the White House. Will liberals ever learn?

Michelle,
Sorry about not filling in name on my last post. Too excited to type, I guess.
Always got your back!
