Someone had to respond and McCain wasn't going to do it. It's nice that it came from another wounded vet. I bet the vets don't appreciate Obama beating up one of their own especially since it's the result of being tortured defending the freedom of this country.

A non-emergency meeting
The McCain campaign's new urgency about the financial crisis didn't entirely clear his schedule this morning.
My colleague Amie Parnes reports that he made it to his scheduled morning meeting with Lady Lynn de Rothschild, a Clinton backer who recently came out in support of him.
All while Obama was waiting by the phone for a returned call.

There are some extremely juvenile comments on this site. Your rabid McCain hatred is obvious. Other than the detailed review of some of Mr. McCain's votes I have to wonder where all the rest of you get your information and whether you ever think about anything before saying it. You are the kinds of minds mainstream media loves because you believe everything you see and read.

if you followed the political tactics of mccain, you'd understand how he earned his nicname "mcpow." does fox news euphoria shield you from that, too?

hate mccain? not at all. in fact, i have stated on this very site that i once greatly respected the man. had he beat boy bush in the primary, i would have voted for him. but he's not the same man. he has lost his faculties. he's a pandering geriatric who has sunk to the very lowest tactics that he once decried when they were used against him by bush/cheney/rove. he's doing and saying anything to get elected. it's his last shot. yes, he's become a joke worth ridiculing, and i love a good joke.
you are the sheeple that the 527s (aka swiftboaters) re-lie on. you believe everything they say. now i don't know what's funnier, mccain, the lame ad, or the righties who believe it.
why don't you discuss the issue of the post? maybe that's too juvenile?
You are so easily duped by these cheesy, misleading, and basically useless 527 pieces. It is a shame that they are allowed to continue to produce and distribute things like this. The entire 527 system has to be reviewed and rethought. But because the Scarecro-W and Tinman-C benefitted from them -as McCain hopes to - there has been no effort to restrain them. Anyone who believes anything from any 527 should contact me about some prime real estate in the middle of Florida. It is "waterfront", but not near the Gulf.
