My husband told me that there are rumors that I've died. I'm happy to report that I'm still very much alive. My cancer has gone to stage four but we are controlling it with chemo, the cancer numbers are currently in the normal range. I've stopped blogging to concentrate on my daughters and writing a

Rest in peace, Internet Monk.
A man known in the cyber world as The Internet Monk, has died. Michael Spencer lost his battle with cancer tonight.
My prayers go out for his family and for all those who loved and will miss him. :(

How exactly is that a gaffe? As or more. He is noting that the picking of him over Hillary isn’t a matter of her being unqualified. (Likely not to contrast Hillary with him, but Hillary with another party, I don’t think I need to say whom…)
Given how people have been talking about how minimal the requirements are, suddenly, to serve in the first place, apparently simple qualifications to serve as VP are not the biggest reason to pick one anyway.
Have to decide. Is it a real position with real qualifications (and someone being as or more qualified doesn’t make the other person UNqualified), or anyone can do it anyway, so this comment doesn’t matter.

Well, considering that the qualifications for VP now include giving birth, yes, Hillary is more qualified than he is.
However, to the best of anyone’s knowledge, neither Biden, nor Hillary, have ever spoken non-human languages so they are both down a point on that.
Biden, on the other hand, has had a hair transplant, so he is more qualified than either Hillary or Mrs. Moosebreath on that score.

The right has decreed it . Biden and Obama are gaffe machines.
So where are all these gaffes that I keep hearing about?
Biden said Hillary was as qualified as he is. So what?

On second thought- don’t . I’ve heard some of your explanations .
I’m still waiting for one that touches the McLame gaffe about Iran training al-quaeda, but that was by McLame, so the media didn’t churn that story. And the dozens of flip flops, but the media still remembers how fond they were of the Double talk express when he threw them barbeques. And he got more press time for the last ten years than any other politician, but now he’s running against the media.
The press used to want to be like Edward R. Murrow.
Now they act more like Monica Lewinsky.

better qualified or not, i think that biden brings a different set of views and experiences to an obama administration, whereas clinton and obama were very similar on policy. that by itself would make biden the better choice for vp – which says nothing negative about clinton’s or biden’s qualifications or abilities. there are other things to consider when such a choice is made.

Considering that your man W isn’t as qualified to be President as my cat, I can live with the fact that Biden may not be as qualified to be Vice-President as Hillary.
