I would think that's a good thing :-) Biden speaking to a group of lawyers tells them that their help will be needed to ensure that the Republicans don't steal another election. They plan to mobilize thousands of lawyers. I vaguely recall Kerry doing the same thing but they weren't needed because it wasn't close enough in any state for them to cheat and try to steal the election.
Here's the rest of the quote on McCain:

And then there's this:

So, I'm not only thanking you for your help. I would think you're all absolutely brain-dead if you didn't help. And I mean it.""Barbarians at the gate?" He's saying this is lawyers! *snicker* If anyone understands "barbarians at the gate" it would be the trial lawyers.
BTW, organized labor looks ready to side with the barbarians and I think it's telling that he doesn't even mention the feminists. Usually they are part of the forces that keep out the barbarians but some of them (the Hillary supporters) are have know switched sides.
Another btw, if you're talking about barbarians at the gate, wouldn't that be the Democrats? They are the ones trying to storm the WH and seize power, aren't they?

As the good ship McCain seems to have hit an iceberg in the polls, and barring some dramatic event in another country that would plug the leak, we can all look forward to four years of the Biden Comedy Hour.
It reminds of when we referred to Andrew Young as Jimmy Carter's Court Jester when he was ambassador to the UN and made a fool of himself on a weekly basis. With Biden, we can count on him to be the fool that he was born on a daily basis.
4 years of jester biden is a breath of fresh air after 4 years of darth cheney (and far more palatable than 4 years of that shrill, whiny, defensive, pal-insane).

that reminds me of an appropriate comic in the paper the other day with the stern of the titanic all that's still above water as the ship sinks, with one rat explaining to two other rats, "yes, but the fundamentals of cruise ships are sound."

you're deluded. what was the last proven case of voter fraud where democrats tried to steal an election? on the other hand, we have recent proven cases of voter suppression, and the majority of these known cases are the deeds of republicans.
