I agree with Obama…

He really is the king of the negative ads and Freudian slips:

“If we’re going to ask questions about, you know, who has been promulgating negative ads that are completely unrelated to the issues at hand, I think I win that contest pretty handily,” Obama said.

One Final Word
My dear friend Michele slipped into eternity on Wednesday, February 1.   She was a remarkable woman who left a legacy of faith, determination, and love. For three years she courageously battled the ovarian cancer that eventually robbed her of her life.  A few days before she died, one of her docto

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated
My husband told me that there are rumors that I've died. I'm happy to report that I'm still very much alive. My cancer has gone to stage four but we are controlling it with chemo, the cancer numbers are currently in the normal range. I've stopped blogging to concentrate on my daughters and writing a

An update and a prayer request
Several people have asked about Michele's condition, and have promised to pray for her. On her behalf, I thank you for that. I spoke with her a little while ago, and she asked that I come here and tell you what's going on, and to ask you to pray for her. She isn't able to post here herself right

Rest in peace, Internet Monk.
A man known in the cyber world as The Internet Monk, has died. Michael Spencer lost his battle with cancer tonight. My prayers go out for his family and for all those who loved and will miss him. :(

The peace that passes all understanding, pt. 1
I'm coming out of my normal hiding place to make a few comments. The internet is a strange place. It is often a wonderful place, a helpful place, a unifying place. But it is also alienating, cold, and is the perfect medium in which to depersonalize others. Through it, I have seen people reach out

Michelle:
Quit wasting bandwith, and just post I hate Obama every 5 minutes! Again, as I have often remarked in the past, and the rare times I visit your “blog” now, you are not in any way reformed in your blog, and now not even current. Today wall street has one of the biggest disasters in modern history, and all you can comment on today is Obama being negative. You have proved to me you cannot present a reformed world view, can only be negative, have absolutely no capacity to be objective, and have no idea about current events that are really significant. Paul issued warnings to churches about women like you!

Am I the only one noticing that Obama has been coming with more Daleyesque malaprops since he picked Biden to be his running mate? I did not know that hoof-in-mouth disease was contagious.

wow, the economy has spoken. down 500+ points in a day… government buyout/bailout of banks… record high unemployment… record deficits. republicans blew it.
i suppose that is negative news and obama is delivering it to you.
and mccain promises us more of the same economic policies that bush gave us. to borrow a statement from palin, “thanks, but no thanks.”
surely someone must approve of mccain’s tax policy. i think it’s the 500 CEOs of the fortune 500 companies because it sure isn’t alan greenspan.

Have any of your professors ever had you do that exercise in critical thinking that requires you to write an argument defending one point of view and then turn around and write another full-throated argument countering the one you just made?
Try it sometime with one of your kneejerk Republican opinions sometime. I think it could be illuminating for you.
We’re heading into the homestretch of this election and nothing less than the future of our country and possibly the survival of the planet is at stake. Please use the forum you have been given more responsibly and in a way that will earn a “Well done, my good and faithful servant” from the Lord when this life is over. Stop focusing on trivia and stop making stupid “gotcha!” moves like the above. You’re doing no one any good, including yourself.

Long before the Obamanites came to pass, we still had the negativity of the Bush hating liberals. Regarding the negative state of the economy…voting present…isn’t going to fix the economy. Republicans are responsible for the problems in our economy?! Wasn’t the garden of Eden the first place that blame was instituted? Why don’t people look at the real reason why our economy is in the state that it’s in?

Gidget’s got it. Eve took a bite of the apple, so the stock market tanked Monday. Yup, that explains it all.
