You’re taking Erica Jong seriously? Really? I don’t know a single person under 50 who considers Erica Jong relevant, or cares what she thinks, and that’s assuming they even know who she is in the first place.
Plus, she’s a conspiracy nut who has publicly said she believes that 9/11 was an inside job. Anyone that paranoid is stupid enough to say that this country would descend into another Civil War if Obama loses. Simply put, she’s wrong. And she’s an idiot.
Contrary to your little right-wing fantasies, I don’t plan on rioting if Obama loses, and don’t know anyone else on “the left” who feels that way either. That would be stupid and counter-productive.
Speaking personally, I’m going to do exactly what I’ve always done should Obama lose. I’ll get up in the morning, go to work every day, and continue to live my life. I’ve got other priorities, like finishing my business degree and looking into graduate schools to worry about doing something as braindead as rioting in the streets.

I’m over 50 and I’ve never heard of this Erica Jong person. Sounds like I haven’t missed anything, either. I don’t take any of her prediction seriously. I solemnly swear not to take any torches or pitchforks out into the streets if Obama loses despite my voting for him.

MzEllen…do you think that blacks in the country will riot when Obama is assassinated after he takes office? I mean, so far there have been three attempts (granted, one of them was more of a Monty Python sketch than a serious plot, but nonetheless there were arrests, so the authorities took it seriously) even before the election, so I am sure there will be more should Obama win on Tuesday, and odds are that one will be successful sooner or later.
When it happens, do you think there will be riots?

When black riot, they will do as usual…loot their own businesses, burn their own schools and homes…and kill themselves…do not forget that there are over 90M armed Americans, the VAST MAJORITY of whom are white…thanks to the progressive (represive?) policies of the Democrat administrations on the USA’s largest cities (and most poor and crime ridden) such as Detroit, Miami, LA, Philly, Newark, et. al., blacks have been left defenseless and only the thugs have guns…so go ahead and kill yourselves protesting the Messiah’s loss…us WASPS will be laughing in our suburban homes, watching you burn your cities to the ground, and if the riots spread…oh well, you all will be nothing but cannon fodder
