And of course the McCain and Biden dolls (“Oh, Mommy! I really want the cranky old men dolls”). Who says she’s a drag on the ticket :-)

One Final Word
My dear friend Michele slipped into eternity on Wednesday, February 1.   She was a remarkable woman who left a legacy of faith, determination, and love. For three years she courageously battled the ovarian cancer that eventually robbed her of her life.  A few days before she died, one of her docto

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated
My husband told me that there are rumors that I've died. I'm happy to report that I'm still very much alive. My cancer has gone to stage four but we are controlling it with chemo, the cancer numbers are currently in the normal range. I've stopped blogging to concentrate on my daughters and writing a

An update and a prayer request
Several people have asked about Michele's condition, and have promised to pray for her. On her behalf, I thank you for that. I spoke with her a little while ago, and she asked that I come here and tell you what's going on, and to ask you to pray for her. She isn't able to post here herself right

Rest in peace, Internet Monk.
A man known in the cyber world as The Internet Monk, has died. Michael Spencer lost his battle with cancer tonight. My prayers go out for his family and for all those who loved and will miss him. :(

The peace that passes all understanding, pt. 1
I'm coming out of my normal hiding place to make a few comments. The internet is a strange place. It is often a wonderful place, a helpful place, a unifying place. But it is also alienating, cold, and is the perfect medium in which to depersonalize others. Through it, I have seen people reach out

Finally a little humor! You wonder why we liberals are so angry. Hate breeds hate, Michele. And hate based in untruths and dishonesty REALLY breeds hate.
I want the Palin doll too, but perhaps for different reasons. :-)

This is true… I think that when untruths are uncovered by the “other side”, those who are revealed hate the truth. That is why those who oppose ACORN are vilified. Those who blog about the born alive bill are called liars, when quotes reveal all.
Gillian, because conservatives believe different than you do, that does not mean it’s okay for you to hate us.

Maybe some people have better things to do than buying dolls to make a political statement.
A silly political statement that may mean something to about 9 people in the entire country.

proof that the hispanic vote goes to obama – sales of the palin doll are on the rise since it was discovered that the stuffing could be replaced with candy. people can’t wait to string it up and whack it with a stick.
“That is why those who oppose ACORN are vilified.”
we’re still waiting for those numbers, mzellen. how many improper voter registrations have resulted in illegal votes being cast? what number of those pale in comparison to the voter suppression carried out by republicans every election year?
still no answer?
