Reuters actually asked the debate organizers if Palin would be checked for a radio receiver!!!

How stupid can you get? Did they ask if Obama was checked when he debated? I’m getting a little sick of the press thinking that Palin is a complete idiot and needs help with the answers.Nice Brett Hume sound effects at the end.(via)

One Final Word
My dear friend Michele slipped into eternity on Wednesday, February 1.   She was a remarkable woman who left a legacy of faith, determination, and love. For three years she courageously battled the ovarian cancer that eventually robbed her of her life.  A few days before she died, one of her docto

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated
My husband told me that there are rumors that I've died. I'm happy to report that I'm still very much alive. My cancer has gone to stage four but we are controlling it with chemo, the cancer numbers are currently in the normal range. I've stopped blogging to concentrate on my daughters and writing a

An update and a prayer request
Several people have asked about Michele's condition, and have promised to pray for her. On her behalf, I thank you for that. I spoke with her a little while ago, and she asked that I come here and tell you what's going on, and to ask you to pray for her. She isn't able to post here herself right

Rest in peace, Internet Monk.

The peace that passes all understanding, pt. 1
I'm coming out of my normal hiding place to make a few comments. The internet is a strange place. It is often a wonderful place, a helpful place, a unifying place. But it is also alienating, cold, and is the perfect medium in which to depersonalize others. Through it, I have seen people reach out

You really need to take a break Michele, because I think you’re losing it and you probably won’t make it to November 4.

i bet that palin wishes that she had that radio receiver during the katie couric interview and during the charlie gibson interview. ouch. she could have used some help with those answers. and you find it unreasonable that the question was asked?
from a republican campaign with the worst ticket in recent history who continues to lie and use theatrics just to stay in the polls, we shouldn’t be surprised by anything they’d do anymore.
(and to correct your lie, according to the video reuters didn’t ask if palin would be checked, they asked if the candidates would be checked. were your expectations that low that you assumed they meant palin?)
by the way, nice to see that fred thompson is still alive. will he end his role as cranky whiny politician and revise his role as cranky whiny television celebrity?

Didn’t you see that thing under the back of Bush’s suit jacket the size of a cigarette pack when he was debating Gore? It was very peculiar and no one ever even bothered to offer an explanation for it. I wouldn’t e a bit surprised if they hadn’t rigged something up for Palin. It’s not so far-fetched, especially for this crew.
But if they did, it didn’t work all that well.
