The RNC's new ad made me seasick!

Don't watch if you have motion sickness because you might get a little nauseous like I did. Maybe that's the effect they were looking for, the thought of an Obama presidency makes us nauseous but I think the ads a waste of time. I couldn't even concentrate on what they were saying. I had to listen to it a second time but I didn't look at the screen. The metaphor definitely got in the way of the message. What a waste of their money!

"...the thought of an Obama presidency makes us nauseous..."

Really? Why? Because Obama actually promotes the teachings of Christ? Just once, I'd like to get a legitimate reply to this question. Why do you "Christians" ignore this passage from Luke 18:25?

“For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” -- Jesus Christ

For all your blustery anti-tax rants, you forget about the community organizer whom you claim to worship. Or do you just cherry-pick the things he said that fit your narrow, greedy viewpoint?

Hypocrites.

Gillian, Christ did not come to earth to be a "community organizer". Christ is Immanuel, God In Flesh who visited this earth to be the once-for-all perfect sacrifice for those who believe.

Christ is the Messiah. Obama is a "community organizer" (are you sure you want to bring ACORN into this again?)

Christ taught giving to the "least of these" - let me know when Obama's "least of these" extends to babies who were born alive as a result of a botched abortion. Would Christ have listened to a nurse who held a born alive baby while he died in a dirty laundry room...and then vote against even letting the bill come to the floor of the Senate for a vote?

You should read the whole context of the single verse you cited. It is in regards to a rich young ruler who wanted to know how to have eternal life.

The instruction was: Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven

Gillian, have you done this? Or are you the hypocrite for using this passage against some, but not following it yourself?

Gillian, have you sold all that you own, and have you given it to the poor?

What "community organizer whom you claim to worship?" Certainly not Obama!

"Why do you "Christians" ignore this passage from Luke 18:25?

“For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” -- Jesus Christ"

Are you implying that the rich can't enter the kingdom of God therefore we shouldn't support tax cuts?

BTW, do you think this verse excludes Obama from the kingdom of God?

"are you sure you want to bring ACORN into this again?"

go ahead. we're still waiting for those numbers. how many people are caught casting an illegal vote every 2 years? how many people are denied to vote legally because of republican interference in the DEMOCRATIC PROCESS?

"a nurse who held a born alive baby while he died in a dirty laundry room"

that had to be the stupidest nurse ever. why didn't she save the baby? why didn't she take him out of that dirty laundry room? why didn't she give the baby back to the mother and force the mother to take the baby? why didn't she take the baby and care for it herself? i guess it makes for a good story for fundies.
