I came across some more interesting articles I thought I’d share:
Here’s a very fascinating article about a woman who was trying to make a decision whether to go into the abortion field or not. I’m going to spoil the ending and tell you that she decides against it:

The things she cared about — taking care of women, seeing them through the process — hadn’t happened. It was the nurse practitioner who cared for the patient. Vacuuming out a uterus and counting the parts of the fetus did not seem like a desirable way to spend her work days. It took a unique person to do that on a daily basis, she said.
Lesley still believed passionately in abortion rights and was proud of what she’d accomplished at Maryland with her activism. She didn’t want to let people down. Even so, she had to follow her heart. Somebody else — maybe Laura Merkel, the new chapter president of Medical Students for Choice — would become an abortion provider. But it wouldn’t be her.

I can’t see how it would be a very uplifting work experience to spend your days ending the life of so many babies. Go read the rest of the article in the light of her choice, it will be worth the effort, believe me.
Here’s an article about people who suffer from a disorder that makes them think their life is a reality show like the Truman Show. If my life were a reality show it would be entitled, How do I get off the hamster wheel?
Mark Halperin and Jake Tapper both admit to media bias in the coverage of the presidential election. Now they tell us! Sorry, guys but you will never regain your status as objective news reporters. You’ll always be seen as the propaganda wing of the DNC and the Obama WH.

Pirates vs. Islamists
! Hmmm…who do we root for? Kind of like Freddy vs. Jason or the Alien vs Predator.
The least favorite lefty of conservative bloggers is not Obama, two other lefties beat him out. I’m not surprised, #1 and #2 are universally disliked by conservatives and they would have been my top two as well. Obama probably would have been have been #7 or 8.

Here’s a reading guide for the Greek New Testament. And here’s the reading calendar by itself. I’m thinking about following it to keep up my Greek skills since I finished my NT classes. I don’t want to lose what it took me so long to gain!
This strikes me as a very unwise move given the economy we’re in and the trouble the networks have been having. I think it demonstrates why unions have outlived their usefulness.
And yet another suggest for improving the Republican party: we need more young hotties. Makes as much sense some of the other suggestions being floated lately.
Here’s a guy who predicted the economic meltdown, will you heed his words of warning?
And finally, this is why our military rocks! (You can cheer for the military as well, lefties since it’s in Afghanistan, the more politically correct war zone).
