Your comment is truly evil. You really need to search your heart to see why you would write such a thing. I'll pray for you.

Gene, you logic is as broken as your theology.

If what you say is true, and Michelle's statements and behaviors are evil, then by duplicating them, you too are evil. Hence, you are no better than she, and have no room to judge.

I'm no fan of Michelle's politics, religious perspective, or manner, but simply put, if you are absolutely incapable of feeling for a young woman struck with cancer, and in fact mock her in full view of her children, you are simply one sick tool of a human being, and it matters not the least what your "opponent" looks like.

The only thing this particular mirror reflects is your own heartless, spiteful hatred. And all you do by displaying it is make even those of us who disagree with, or even dislike, Michelle, pray harder for her recovery.

In this way, God turns evil into good.

I too am drawn to make a comment.

It seems to me that Gene and his or her detractors make the same kind of mistake. Gene finds Michelle's unchristian tone offensive and is offensive himself or herself. (For all we know, Gene is an atheist or adheres to some other religion, so shaming may not work.) The people who react to Gene seem to think they know better than God what is good for Michelle.

Indeed, God may be using this cancer, horrible as it is, to open Michelle's life to receive a greater blessing or to be a greater blessing. I wouldn't pray just that she recover, although that would be a good thing. I pray that she should be maximally blessed.

But Gene is right, a lot of Christians do sound just like Gene when the subject isn't one of their own. He or she is right, it's a mirror held up. It's simply more important to pray for Michelle's best than to wag a finger at the finger wagger at the finger wagger.

Boris says they're both insane. The whole idea of a God who interferes in such details of the lives of individuals is an insane superstition as is the superstition that there's really a God who we can call upon telepathically. I fear these two are telling children to believe this crap.

What good will has Michelle shown to me, other free thinkers, atheists, skeptics, liberal Christians or other non-believers? What goes around comes around. I don't owe Michelle anything. I don't wish her any harm. It is VERY hypocritical for someone like her who claims not to believe in evolution or any other modern science to run to the "evolutionists" to get cured when she gets sick. Luke 9 clearly implies that demons cause diseases and it is authority that cures disease and NOT human knowledge. In fact human wisdom is knowledge is portrayed as worthless now isn't it? But the next time you get sick YOU'LL come running to the "evolutionists" too. But if both you and Michelle were true Bible believers then you would be seeing Todd Bentley or Benny Hinn for your cures and not the "evolutionists."

I have been one of your mothers critics on here, and quit reading her blog. I checked back to see how bad see was lambasting Obama, and discovered she had cancer. Let me tell you I prayed for her, you, and your family, and will continue to do so.
