Palm Pre

It looks so good! But I’m really loving my iTouch and I only use my cell phones for calls (but will be using for text messaging when my oldest goes to college), so I don’t see the need for the extra expense of a smart phone ($190 a month would be way more than I would spend on cell phones and I have no intention of switching to Sprint). Though, the video is really cool:Good review here. With follow up questions from readers here:

* Can it play Flash videos?-Not at the moment. However, Adobe has said that it’s working on Flash for the Pre, so it’s coming soon.

This is the problem with iTouch/iPhone as well. Can’t watch hulu.com, which is really a pain! And a bit of a controversy here (video of Leo Laporte of Gillmor Gang losing it when asked by Michael Arrington of Tech Crunch if he bought the Pre or was given one by Palm — language warning).

One Final Word
My dear friend Michele slipped into eternity on Wednesday, February 1.   She was a remarkable woman who left a legacy of faith, determination, and love. For three years she courageously battled the ovarian cancer that eventually robbed her of her life.  A few days before she died, one of her docto

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated
My husband told me that there are rumors that I've died. I'm happy to report that I'm still very much alive. My cancer has gone to stage four but we are controlling it with chemo, the cancer numbers are currently in the normal range. I've stopped blogging to concentrate on my daughters and writing a

An update and a prayer request
Several people have asked about Michele's condition, and have promised to pray for her. On her behalf, I thank you for that. I spoke with her a little while ago, and she asked that I come here and tell you what's going on, and to ask you to pray for her. She isn't able to post here herself right

Rest in peace, Internet Monk.
A man known in the cyber world as The Internet Monk, has died. Michael Spencer lost his battle with cancer tonight. My prayers go out for his family and for all those who loved and will miss him. :(

The peace that passes all understanding, pt. 1
I'm coming out of my normal hiding place to make a few comments. The internet is a strange place. It is often a wonderful place, a helpful place, a unifying place. But it is also alienating, cold, and is the perfect medium in which to depersonalize others. Through it, I have seen people reach out

$190 per month? what are you talking about? check your facts. Sprint is the cheapest service with $99.99 for unlimited voice, text, email, internet. so, what’s this $190 you are talking about?

Sprint is the cheapest and the fastest. I have a Treo with unlimited Internet, email, 500 min, 100 text, free Sprint to Sprint calls, weekends/nights for $55 per month – $40 phone & $15 Internet, which I use a lot.
I did not want to fight crowds yesterday, but will soon be buying a Pre. It will several times faster for the Internet than my Treo is.
I have had Sprint service for 10 yrs with no problems. The service has become outstanding during the past two yrs.
