One Final Word
My dear friend Michele slipped into eternity on Wednesday, February 1. She was a remarkable woman who left a legacy of faith, determination, and love. For three years she courageously battled the ovarian cancer that eventually robbed her of her life. A few days before she died, one of her docto

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated
My husband told me that there are rumors that I've died. I'm happy to report that I'm still very much alive. My cancer has gone to stage four but we are controlling it with chemo, the cancer numbers are currently in the normal range. I've stopped blogging to concentrate on my daughters and writing a

An update and a prayer request
Several people have asked about Michele's condition, and have promised to pray for her. On her behalf, I thank you for that. I spoke with her a little while ago, and she asked that I come here and tell you what's going on, and to ask you to pray for her. She isn't able to post here herself right

The peace that passes all understanding, pt. 1

“I haven’t watched it because I have a life.”
Considering how much glee you have expressed while making fun of Biden, it seems like a Christian’s due diligence to learn about the man you like to cut down.

I assume you get the irony of spending time posting a blog about someone only to brag that you don’t have the time to do a decent or thorough job of it, so I won’t make too much of an issue about it.
I will say however, that I am very thankful today that Sarah Palin is not our vice-President because this country deserves someone who will stand up and do the job despite the criticism. Joe biden is not the best vice-President ever, but at least he will not quit and go fly-fishing when the going gets tough, and then whine on national TV about how unfairly he has been treated and how the media can be so cruel.

I have so much of a life that I dont have time to even search out things like this.
Heaven knows, Joe has always had a case of “foot in mouth.” But I second the observation that whatever his liabilities may be, they pale to insignificance when compared to what might have been…

It is interesting that he had a choice not all too different from Palin’s on public service vs. family. In all, it seems he’s had a charmed (or graced) life up to this point.
Watching the bio raised my respect for him. You ought to watch it, michele, when you get a chance.
