That is NOT what Obama is doing, he didn't even glance at that 16 year old girl. Greta Van Susteran showed the video on her show "On The Record", I saw it. She was decent enough to find out the truth before spreading lies as you are, I was surprised somebody on Fox was fair!
Obama stepped down, turned to the young lady behind him for her hand (she was a young J8 delegate to the G8, just as the 16 yr old girl in the red was), and helped her down the step so they could greet the people in the line that was forming to shake hands. That's all that was. You can take out a photo in any event and be mistaken as to what was going on. Stop spreading a lie.

Spreading false information is typical for the Drudge Report and Michele.

I have never seen Michele do an update to correct false information she spreads about Obama and other Democrats.

I am also surprised that FOX investigated and reported the truth about Obama. Sean Hannity is continuing to splice video to take what Obama said out of context.

Whatever policy differences people may have with him, we can all agree that he exemplifies reticence, dispassion and the other traits associated with dignity. The cultural effects of his presidency are not yet clear, but they may surpass his policy impact. I am not surprised at all Michele to find you spreading fallacious rumors in your blog about President Obama, or about anyone else who does not line up with your right from center thinking. This just seems to be a common trait by you and Rod Dreher here on B-Net, as well many other pundits out there in fundamentalist land, who are the obvious minority in America and are nothing more than squeaky wheels trying to get oil.

If this had been George Bush in the photo, it would have been splashed all over the front page of every newspaper in the world and featured on every TV newscast. Lighten up, you lefties. Your guy is getting off easy, just like your previous hero, Bill Clinton.

The Obama supporters that commented on this story have some real issues understanding fact and opinion. It is a fact that president Obama got caught looking at a 16 year olds backside, there is a picture to prove that. You can try to justify his actions anyway you want, but in the end it just makes you look more like a person who cannot judge things for themselves. It's very sad when we cannot think for ourselfs, and hold people accountable no matter what. We cannot afford to put any politician on a pedastal and you lefties are by far the worst.

One other note, I suspect folks find it easy to assume that Obama was "checking out" this young woman...because Sarkozy clearly was. But hey, he's French.

I looked at the picture, and that woman does have QUITE a nice tushie. I mean, wouldn't it be natural for ANY man to look at her (or any other attractive woman)?. I would only be critical if a politician who is a married man actually acted upon such an attraction, but one can hardly be blamed for looking.

How disappointing! I have generally enjoyed Michele's stuff, but to suggest that a man who glances at an attractive female is "a bit of a pig" suggests an entire failure to understand males at all. The fact that it cannot be verified that he was actually doing just that doesn't seem to be an issue here either. Assume the worst, I suppose. Jesus said it was adultery to look and lust. The suggestion since has been that the "lust" part requires a second look. (Billy Graham modified that with "It depends on how long the first look is." But accusations of "pighood" for a momentary, even questionable glance is not reasonable.

Having now seen the video, what I see is Obama helping another young woman negotiate what are rather steep steps while Sarkozy acts like a total pig.

If the President took any notice of the young woman, it was about 1-2 seconds worth(go ahead and time it) which hardly constitutes an ogle, unless you're just desperate to find something...anything...to harp on.

Michele, you owe your readers a retraction or at the very least an apology on this one for calling the President a “pig” and your tantalizing misleading headline, if you want to be taken seriously as a writer. The headline should be “Obama Caught Assisting a Woman Down the Stairs”. After seeing the video, it is not at all what you are making it out to be.

Michelle, it's hard sometimes to admit that one was wrong when jumping to a conclusion based on flimsy evidence. That said, trying to defend such mistakes makes one look even more desperate. One isolated picture can not show the "whole picture" and other photographic and video evidence completely dispels what Ms McGinty was so quick to jump on and pass judgment. It strikes me that what is truly shameful here is that a group of desperate Obama bashers took this moment, when he looked in the direction of a 17 year old delegate to the conference for a total of THREE SECONDS, while clearly turning to help another young woman down a steep step, and turned it into something which now makes her the “butt” of all sorts of jokes.

The young woman is trying to be a responsible citizen who makes a positive difference in the world. Now, people whose own political leadership is rife with all sorts of sleazy sexual scandal, have used her to try to portray President Obama as a “pig.” She must feel humiliated, and I think that is shameful.
