Van Jones denies being a Truther

posted by Susan Johnson | 8:57am Friday September 4, 2009

Here’s the relevant part of his statement:

As for the petition that was circulated today, I do not agree with this statement and it certainly does not reflect my views now or ever.

But what about his signature on the petition, here’s what the WH says:

A White House official, seeking to explain Jones’s signature on the 9/11 statement, says Jones “didn’t carefully review” the document before signing it.

Oh, the old, “I didn’t know what I was signing” dodge. OK, then how do they explain this. The WH better be sure about this guy because bloggers will keep at it until all the dirt has been uncovered.
Speaking of dirt, I wonder what the WH has to say about this.
Obama did say that we should judge him by the people who surround him and since he choose a communist, Truther and revolutionary, what does that say about Obama?
Update: Hmmm…he sounds less radical, more conciliatory in this sound bite. He actually sounds more like the pro-racial, post-political Obama of the campaign trial.
Updated again: But then again there’s this. I report, you decide :-)
Updated yet again: Then again, Charles Johnson of LGF makes a good point about Truthers lying.

One Final Word
My dear friend Michele slipped into eternity on Wednesday, February 1.   She was a remarkable woman who left a legacy of faith, determination, and love. For three years she courageously battled the ovarian cancer that eventually robbed her of her life.  A few days before she died, one of her docto

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated
My husband told me that there are rumors that I've died. I'm happy to report that I'm still very much alive. My cancer has gone to stage four but we are controlling it with chemo, the cancer numbers are currently in the normal range. I've stopped blogging to concentrate on my daughters and writing a

An update and a prayer request
Several people have asked about Michele's condition, and have promised to pray for her. On her behalf, I thank you for that. I spoke with her a little while ago, and she asked that I come here and tell you what's going on, and to ask you to pray for her. She isn't able to post here herself right

Rest in peace, Internet Monk.
A man known in the cyber world as The Internet Monk, has died. Michael Spencer lost his battle with cancer tonight. My prayers go out for his family and for all those who loved and will miss him. :(

The peace that passes all understanding, pt. 1
I'm coming out of my normal hiding place to make a few comments. The internet is a strange place. It is often a wonderful place, a helpful place, a unifying place. But it is also alienating, cold, and is the perfect medium in which to depersonalize others. Through it, I have seen people reach out

Let’s see…let us all imagine for a moment that G W Bush had appointed someone with ties to a radical group such as KKK or such as that. Would there be such a silence from the Left as we “hear” now? Hmmmm?

Actually, Les, Karl Rove’s assistant and RNC member Milton Rister was famous for having said “Of course we all love the N—–s. Every white Republican should own two.” But the Left was more upset with the policy than this racist, idiotic statement. As it should be.

For people who claim to be the smartest of the smart, I never heard so many “I was unaware” or “I didnt know” than in this administration. What really bothers me is, it seems to bother no one, that Obama put this racist Communist in OUR WHITE HOUSE. Maybe thats why he was placed in counsel under the title Czar, so that his vetting wasnt as so stringent. For people who raised hell at everything Bush did, including his breathing..the silence on thier part says alot about their real lack of character

“Obama did say that we should judge him by the people who surround him and since he choose [sic] a communist, Truther and revolutionary, what does that say about Obama?”
who cares? you’ve already tarred him as a terrorist and communist and socialist and fascist nazi (because you obviously don’t know the differences or definitions of any of them). pick the day and a new derogatory label for the president, michele.
