If I were Nancy Pelosi, I wouldn't be taking this guys threats seriously. And I guess neither should we. When I posted the article I thought, "Should I really trust a Democrat to stand on principle?" I wish I had heeded that thought, I would have voiced my skepticism.

Pro-life Democrats aren't single issue zealots. They care about issues other than aboriton, like health care, the poor, the environment. Stuff pro-life Republicans don't care about, which allows them to be single issue extremists.

Michele, do you really want to suggest that no Democrat has principles? Do you really want to say that Democrats are less honorable than Republicans?

I really think you would do your positions are lot more good and be much more credible and persuasive if you would focus on the issues and acknowledge the good intentions of people on all sides. Unlike you, I do not attribute your methods to all people who share your views, but as your example shows, some are not so nuanced in their judgments.
