Which is putting it mildly. MoveOn.org is now against the bill and urging progressive Dems to vote against it:
But it’s not too late to fix the bill. And as Joe Lieberman has shown, just one senator willing to stand in the way can force legislation to be changed dramatically.Senator Bernie Sanders, a strong proponent of the public option, has already made clear that he’s opposed to the legislation in its current form–and he could decide to block it until it’s fixed.3But there’s enormous pressure from all sides to pass a bill quickly, no matter how weak it is. Let’s show Bernie and other progressives that we’re counting on them to block this version of the bill–and we’ll get their backs if they do.Can you sign our petition opposing the current Senate health care bill? Clicking here will add your name:http://pol.moveon.org/block/o.pl?id=&t=3
And they’re pretty ticked at Lieberman, mocking him in this mildly amusing sock puppet ad:You know, I’m thinking this ad must make Lieberman pretty happy considering MoveOn.org’s support of Lamont in his challenge for Lieberman’s seat. I bet he is laughing at them, there is nothing they can do to him. They gave it their best shot and came up short. Would Lieberman have lacked party loyalty to this extent and showed this much bravery if he hadn’t been dumped by his friends and colleagues? It’s been fun to watch the train wreck this bill has become and the outright civil war among the left. The A MSNBC host treating a Democrat ObamaCare supporter like a Republican, grilling and yelling at her and refusing to let her answer. Ed Shultz allowing Kos to rip Matthews for his dissing of the netroots. And here’s Lana Davis getting treated like a Republican by Ed Shultz (even allowing Jane Hamsher of Firedoglake to ambush him on his client list):

“Would Lieberman have lacked party loyalty to this extent and showed this much bravery if he hadn’t been dumped by his friends and colleagues?”
Really? How silly! Had Lieberman shown party loyalty in the first place, he wouldn’t have been dumped by friends and colleagues. But, coming from a conservative, I guess ruling by the royal mindset is to be expected, right?
Last I heard, MoveOn had raised over $1 million for the progressive who will oppose Lieberman, should he run again. Granted, it’s not much for opposing a Republican Senator, but it’s a good start.

I certainly hope that Reid’s health care bill loses. The problem is that big media is behind Obama’s getting some legislation before Christmas.

Fix the bill? What do you mean by that?
DC has NO Constitutional authority to do what they are proposing with HC in the 1st place. We must keep that in mind, rather than acting like “well, this bill needs fixing…” It does not need fixing. It needs to be thrown out, period.
Same is true for cap & trade & most of what Mr. O is pushing as he seeks to over throw the USA from within. He is doing the ‘overwhelm the establishment’ thing so that they can rebuild the US as a social Fascist state that they want to turn into a vassal of a one world government.
Could you make the verification box easier to read? I have problems telling what the letters & numbers are. They are not very legible to me. Thank you!

Social Fascist?
Sam, there’s not dishonor in being on the furthest right politically. One should, however, at least make an attempt at learning the meaning of the words one uses.

it’s hardly a civil war or anything of the sort.
it’s the left letting the president know that they’re not happy with his capitulation to the right.
remember when bush never really delivered like the conservative that you wanted him to, and yet you on the right just sat there and took it in the keister like good lemmings and suffered for it?
yeah… the left isn’t going to do that.
on the other hand, the right fringe has been purging republican ranks of any moderates for the past 20 years.
