The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated
My husband told me that there are rumors that I've died. I'm happy to report that I'm still very much alive. My cancer has gone to stage four but we are controlling it with chemo, the cancer numbers are currently in the normal range. I've stopped blogging to concentrate on my daughters and writing a

Rest in peace, Internet Monk.
A man known in the cyber world as The Internet Monk, has died. Michael Spencer lost his battle with cancer tonight.
My prayers go out for his family and for all those who loved and will miss him. :(

Canadians are like people all over the world – tendency to anti-American. A Canadian woman in a diversity training class I took in Switzerland said the reason for the anti-Americanism was jealousy of America being more powerful.
Anti-Americanism throughout the world did not start with Bush. He did cause a substantial increase in anti-Americanism.

I wasn’t aware that your worldview is so fragile that you can’t accept the Swiss hockey team composed of amateurs. Well, at least you can revel in your jingoism after the 6-1 victory over powerhouse Finland.

Things got very tense during the Olympics. The US sent 15 divisions to the Canadian border and the Canadians responded by mobilizing their regiment of peacekeepers armed with the latest marshmallow guns.
