My life has been touched by cancer over the past several years so I know the physical and emotional pain that comes along with this terrible disease. It is my prayer that God will heal your body and comfort your soul. God bless and hang in there!

Almighty and Everlasting God,
I come to you in prayer for Michele McGinty. I do not know what the future holds, or your plans for her, but I do know that you are the God of Compassion, of Mercy, of Deliverance…. that in your mercy for the suffering of humankind that you became incarnate, for the sake of our souls…. So I turn to you now, and ask for the alleviation of her suffering. I ask for your guidance for her medical team, for divine intelligence to guide the treatment, the care, the pain relief…
I do not ask for cure here–as that is between Michele and You how long she is supposed to be on earth…. but I ask for a healing. I ask you to pour your Spirit upon her and heal her on whatever level is best, as You know best for her…. and I ask for courage for her, and for Your peace to descend upon her and her family.

I am praying for Michele. I first learned of Michele through her Twitter account and have been so blessed by the little contact that I’ve had with her. I sincerely pray that God would put his hand on healing upon her so that she can get well and continue to be a blessing to her family, friends, and others (like me) whom she’s never met but has interacted with.

I am so sorry to hear all of this. She is in my prayers.

Any number of people have become perturbed with Michelle, for reasons that may be good or bad or sensible or just plain wrong. But if you have been irritated by Michelle (or if you haven’t), what a wonderful opportunity for all of us to show a Christlike attitude and to pray for her body, mind, and soul now.

As one of the “perturbed” I can say that I am glad to pray for Michele, her family, and all who are striving to care for her. Whatever our divergent views may be, we all come under the same grace of God who loves us all. May God grant her and all who care for her, comfort, courage, wisdom, and strength.

We so often take good health for granted, but pray for ichelle recovery. I don’t know her but God does and He deals with each of us individually. My friend Laine was declared terminal so she quit chemo (it’s only effective for 3 kinds of cancer) and let her hair grow out. Her diagnosis was 5 years ago and she is thriving in the Lord!! God is always right on time and i know He is there for Michelle as well. God Bless

Michelle………….I am sending tons of prayers up for you. I don’t want to see another person die from this disease. My best friend passed away in January from Ovarian Cancer. She had some of the same issues your describing, Stomach and gastro problems. They did a final CT scan and discovered the cancer had moving into her lower stomach and I beleive it also caused a blockage in her bowels. I had her for 10 years but I miss her every day but cancer and treatments took 5 years of her life away from all that loved her. I will pray fervently for you.
Our dearest heavenly Father, I come to you today on Michelle’s behalf. Lord you know the pain cancer causes, the lives it cuts short and all the other complications it brings to a family. Lord, we know you are the Divine healer and we humbly ask that you lay your loving hands on Michelle and heal her sick body. We trust in you and we have faith that you can heal her and make her better. We ask all these things in Jesus precious name. Amen.

I’ve often disagreed with you, but philosophical, religious, or political disagreements always take a back seat to care for the person, and you are going through hell. Nobody deserves cancer. Excellent question. I too have wondered how Michele is doing and have been checking the board. Hopefully someone will be able to update it. Unfortunately I fear the news isn’t good.

I knew the cancer had returned but have not been on in over six months. I dont know why tonight I just decided to get on.
I am going to keep her in my prayers and ask God for complete healing. Tell her she is loved and in our prayers.

It has now been three months since Michele or any representative has posted anything here.
Fans and critics alike have inquired about her condition and have offered prayers and words of encouragement for her and her family.

Michele i pray for you and your family. Cancer is a horrible thing and took my mothers life. I have a question the Cathi McGinty Reiman that post on this site is she from Kearny,NJ & married to Bill? If so i went to HS with her and grew up with Bill in North Arlington.

I read online that Michelle passed away August 12. Deepest sympathies to her husband and daughters.

I am a stranger to Michelle but I am sincerely sending my hope and prayers that she recovers and beats that cancer. With God’s love nothing is impossible.
