He is suing her for $1.5 million for the kidney or its return:
Batista charged his wife, Dawnell, repaid his gesture by first sleeping with her physical therapist - and then denying him access to their three kids in an increasingly bitter divorce.Of course this is just a publicity stunt because it's against the law to exchange money for body parts and the court isn't going to order a woman to undergo a surgery that would imperil her health.
I can understand the guy's pain and desire to hit back at his cheating wife and do whatever it takes to gain access to his kids, but he comes across in the article as kind of whiny and self-pitying. If he has as much pride as he says he does in the article, he might have tried another way to gain access to the kids. If I were him, I would find a new lawyer because the current one is pretty incompetent letting him do this.
Returns it and doesn't even get a reward. An elderly woman took her money out of the bank and sealed it in a box of crackers and then returned it to the Whole Foods by accident (at least that's what she claimed):
Debra had purchased the crackers earlier in the week at Whole Foods at The District shopping center in Tustin. Tustin police responded to their home and speculated the money was part of a drug drop. She did receive a new box of crackers when she asked. I guess in this case honesty is its own reward, though it would have been gracious of the woman to give the family a little something to say thank you.Police went to Whole Foods where managers told them an elderly customer came in a few days earlier, hysterical after she realized she had mistakenly returned the box of crackers with her life savings inside. Frightened by the government takeover of several banks, the Lake Forest woman, whose identity was not released, had decided to take her money out of the bank and hide it in her home.

He was upset that his teacher sent him out of the room and he wanted to drive home and complain to his mom. He did over $10,000 worth of damage. I'm thinking that the mom will probably not be too sympathetic to his complaint :-)
