Is there any more proof needed of what a farce Western religion is than the fact that about a billion people all believe that Jesus was the son of God, sent here to die for their sins and yet none of them can agree on the tiny little details totally orthogonal to his main message?
And the term “values voters” is hilarious. These are the voters who support a President who tortures, makes wars of opportunity using an army of his poorest citizens to line the pockets of his corporate friends and lies at every turn. Some values. Jesus never said to persecute homosexuals and his only prescribed protection of marriage was against divorce, the one thing Christians seem unwilling to address.
The Republican party and its so-called values voters are merely reaping the poison they have sewn and it is long overdue.
