Good Bye
Today is my last day at Beliefnet (which I co-founded in 1999). The swirling emotions: sadness, relief, love, humility, pride, anxiety.
But mostly deep, deep gratitude.
How many people get to come up with an idea and have rich people invest money to make it a reality? How many people get to create

I’m sure this post is tongue-in-cheek, but unfortunately there are too many people who are going to try to read the weather like divine tea leaves. I very much doubt God times hurricanes to make political points either way. If he wanted to do something like that, he could just send a well aimed lightning bolt and avoid needless suffering.

The religious right would quote scriptures. But since the sky was clear and sunny in Denver for **Barack Obama**. Truly he is the choice! McCain tried to steal Obama’s thunder by leaking that he would be making his VP choice the next day after the DNC. Now the next day after he made that announcement he may not even have a RNC. So I guess it is safe to say, he himself has gotten his thunder stolen by forces of God and mother nature! **God those not like ugly, he shows us that thru karma**. At least on the news there’s less McPain/Failin and we can focus on helping and being ready to assist those that may be affected by Gustav they are in my prayers. God Bless America!
