I love it!!
I normally can’t stand Evangelicals, but this was a good one.

I’m going to assume Ms. Bachmann was bringing attention to Ms. Pelosi’s extreme hyperbole.
However, I am often amazed by the attitude of progressives who claim to worry about the plight of the poor, yet are all to willing to vastly increase their number by destroying the economy through environmental extremism. We need to find alternative sources of energy and make an orderly transition. That will mean that we will continue to require access to oil and natural gas while we develop alternative forms of energy, probably for the next 20-30 years at least.

Jesus may have saved the people, but as stewards we suck! The first commandment God gave man was to tend the garden.
The Evangelists seem to want to hurry up the Judgement day by destroying the world so that God will create a new one. I bet they will try to destroy that one as well. Those who beleive in the Rapture
don’t care a lot about the environment. They are going to Heaven so what do they care about the Earth, its not theirs anyway.
While Nancy Pelosi is not a favorite of mine, I agree with her. I’m trying to save the planet from the fools that don’t respect God’s property.

Wrong Rep. Bachmann! Jesus saved our souls and promised to prepare our new home(Jn 14 and Rev 21). He knew we’d destroy our current home. Bachmann’s just behaving like one of the Pharisees, denying the truth that’s right in front of them. I’m not referring to Nancy Pelosi, but the truth that our planet is in peril. How anyone can profess to be ‘pro-life’ but support killing our planet?
Republican ‘Evangelicals’ are an embarrassment to those of us who try live our lives based upon the ACTUAL words of our Savior not some inaccurate cliffnotes of the Gospel presented by GW, John Hagee, etc.

Paul you got it so right… As stewards we suck! However, I have to disagree with you about Rapture. Yes, I believe in Rapture, but I’ve always believed in taking care of our planet… even when I was a slacker teenager & caring about the environment was not considered cool.
Than again I’m a Progressive Christian & a hippy chik to boot!

Yeah, I have the misfortune of having Bachmann as a rep. Though I did NOT vote for her. She’s pretty extreme.
