Thou Shalt Make Whoopie

Tuesday November 25, 2008

Rev. Ed Young has challenged married couples in his congregation to have seven straight days of sex. He told The New York Times:

"We should try to double up the amount of intimacy we have in marriage. And when I say intimacy, I don't mean holding hands in the park or a back rub."

"For some reason the church has not talked about it, but we need to...God thought it up, it was his idea."

Very interesting idea. Intimacy can begin with reading love poems to your beloved which can enhance or lead to sexual intimacy

When I mentioned this story on Rod Dreher's blog, he deleted the post. Just thought you ought to know that not everyone at Beliefnet.com practices the same level of rigorous honesty.

As with Bob Jones U., I am quite sure that Mr. Dreher will not be admonished in the slightest for his decision. After all, Mr. Dreher is not only in your employ but an extremely powerful figure at the ultra-Conservative Dallas Morning News.

You, Mr. Waldman, seem to practice the same subjective, Soviet-like posting requirements of Mr. Dreher.

Perhaps the readers of Beliefnet need to learn more about those that finance you, both onshore and offshore?
