Good Bye
Today is my last day at Beliefnet (which I co-founded in 1999). The swirling emotions: sadness, relief, love, humility, pride, anxiety.
But mostly deep, deep gratitude.
How many people get to come up with an idea and have rich people invest money to make it a reality? How many people get to create

Secularizing the Cross (Christian Activists: Be Careful What You Wish For)
The Supreme Court heard oral arguments this week, in Buono v. Salazar, about whether a white 6 1/2 foot cross can be displayed in a national park as a tribute to World War I soldiers. Though it's depicted as a classic clash of the secular and the religious, it actually illustrates why Christian act

But of course, Depakote — the drug cited in most media reports — **IS** a psychiatric drug. At least it is most frequently used as one.
My condolences go to the Travoltas. But isn’t this the equivalent of an offense worthy of excommunication in the Catholic Church, if the reports about Depakote are true?
(I hope you ask the Scientologist spokesman that question.)

The Travolta family needs to be left alone to grieve the loss of their only dear son.
It is so sickening and down right annoying that a grieving family cannot be left alone at a time when they need solice and quiet.
All of the hoopla about their religion has nothing to do with the loss of their beloved son Jett.
So many people in this country are haters and always have something to say about what someone else is doing with thier life in their own home!
When will people learn how to and mind their own damn business and leave other people alone.

Lisa your right everyone should leave John Travolta and his family alone. all the bull about his religion has nothing to do with anything.
I know what it is like to lose a child mine past on at 2 half many years ago. so I di know.
Why can’t people mine there own business and take care of there own and leave the rest of us alone.
My condolences go to the Travoltas family
Lisa your doing a great job
