GRAMMY winners Arcade Fire are enjoying a new jolt of success, and hopefully a lot of people are checking out their older albums such as the great Neon Bible (Which I personally enjoyed far more than The Suburbs). The band often makes use of spiritual themes in their music, and this interesting article discusses the themes of that very album. Enjoy!

I have *tried* to get into Arcade Fire via The Suburbs and it’s been an utter fail. It just sounds like there’s too much going on in all their songs all the time… like no one musician ever really gets heard in the mush of everything going on.
I hope A.F. fans don’t riot outside my house after reading this … though I’d have to admit “inciting a riot” in my sleepy little neighborhood would be kinda cool. lol
I’ll look up Neon Bible on Grooveshark and see if that fares any better.
