Celebrity Rehab is gearing up to start it’s fifth season on VH1. Before we delve into the newest cast members and their struggles with addiction, let’s take a look back to see what has happened with former cast members.
Tom Sizemore is a memorable cast member from the third season of Celebrity Rehab. We witnessed his emotional war with himself as he tried to grasp on to sobriety. His verbal and physical outbursts, combined with dramatic interactions with Heidi Fleiss were horrific to watch. They showed first hand how out of control active addiction can become.
The famous and talented actor has always been a force. Starring in movies: Saving Private Ryan, Heat, Black Hawk Down and Natural Born Killers, he wowed the American public with his ability to shine on camera. Personally his life was filled with chaos. His struggles with addiction began around the age of 15 and continued for years. Legal and relationship woes did not provide the motivation for Tom to get clean. Where is Tom now?
Tom is still in the headlines. Recently involved in a controversy regarding a missing girlfriend (who was located) it seems that for every step he takes forward he takes one back. He can be found on TheFix.com in their “Ask An Expert” column alongside Courtney Love. Hiring a round the clock sober companion, Tom takes his sobriety very seriously. His passion for life shows through on the screen and during his interviews. He has come a long way and for that he should be extremely proud.
