Sit-a-Long with Jundo: Here and There

Today, we are celebrating having a new home for our Zazen netcast, right here on Beliefnet!

For folks new to our sittings ... I'm Jundo, a Soto Zen Buddhist priest living in Japan. Our community, and these meditation sittings, are all meant especially for folks who wish to sit Zazen (Zen style meditation) together with others, but can't do so easily:  maybe due to health concerns, living in remote areas,  super busy work schedules, childcare and family needs and such.

SIT-A-LONG with JUNDO: IS MOVING!!!

Our "Sit-a-Long with Jundo" daily Zazen netcast is MOVING TO BELIEFNET.COM, the large and widely respected spiritual community on the web. STARTING FROM TODAY, please sit with us at the following link:

http://blog.beliefnet.com/treeleafzen/

What does the move mean? Well, nothing really!

All will be the same format, same Zazen, same Universe, same Timeless Wisdom and Compassion, same Four Noble Truths and Eightfold Path, same Shakyamuni "The Boss Man" Buddha, same Master Dogen & All the Ancestors ... (same ol' silly Jundo) ... same "Just Sitting" Shikantaza ...

... only the address is changing!

Truly, All is Constantly Changing ... and this is a very good change! The move will allow access to better resources for the netcast, plus aid greatly in carrying out our original purpose .... namely, to provide Zazen sittings, instruction, Retreats, discussion, interaction with a teacher, and all other activities of a Zen Buddhist sangha ... all fully online for Zen practitioners who cannot easily commute to a Zen Center due to health concerns, living in remote areas, or childcare and family needs.

So, I hope that you will join us for Zazen as always ... just there instead of here. After all, as I asked on our very first "Sit-a-Long with Jundo", way back when ...

Where are you at the instant all thoughts of "here" and "there" are dropped from mind?

Gassho and Much Gratitude to All!

VERSE OF ATONEMENT:

All harmful acts, words and thoughts, ever committed by me since of old,

On account of beginningless greed, anger and ignorance,

Born of my body, mouth and mind,

Now I atone for them all

FOUR VOWS:

To save all sentient beings, though beings numberless

To transform all delusions, though delusions inexhaustible

To perceive Reality, though Reality is boundless

To attain the Enlightened Way, a Way non-attainable
