I think about this when I go into see my doctor this week.
Gassho, from one chicken to another,
I meant to say 'I will'
I get annual MRIs of my brain, and from the first time I had one, I realized that it's the perfect time to do zazen. Because you simply can't do anything else, for about 20-30 minutes... The noise even helps, because of the rhythm.
I need to so zazen when I fly as that's when I am a chicken. Gassho, Andrea
Hope all your tests show you are in perfect health. You don't have to get your sense of humor tested, though; there's nothing wrong with that!

Just found this blog site, and this is the 2nd page I've read. I notice Rev. Cohen (apologies if I have the title wrong) is doing something very innovative using his online presence. I hope many people benefit from his endeavours. There's a nice feel here with Rev. Cohen's easy-going manner.
Reading Kirk's post of June 29th (boy, am coming in late on this page too) where he's doing 'Za'zen in the MRI machine. What's wrong with MRI Zen? Anyways, hope he didn't zap the equipment and his results were OK.
.... Cheers ! .........
I can't wait until they get a socialized healthcare system in the US either. Combine that with private medical insurance and you really can't go wrong. The cost of an MRI in the US is around 1,100 USD. Depending on what type of scan you have done. You'd probably pay around $100 of this, depending on your insurance provider. I'd say you did pretty well!
