I find that zazen helps me maintain patience. This patience allows me to hold a question and let it “bloom” as you say. It is amazing how answers reveal themselves in ways you couldn’t have possibly imagined. As such, this practice is very rewarding. Large and small. Ordinary and profound.
There is no need to chase the answer in every instance. It seems like the normal thing to do however.
