There have been no comments on this...so... who else. I hope you are not going to wear this fox wrap back in the states since PETA will be all over you like white on rice as they were all over Obama after he slapped dead the fly on his arm while sitting with an international dignitary on camera. Oi. Me...my last mouse has left our house even though I left her Brie each day...well...this time within a mouse safe trap which can be bought on the internet and which helped me catch the dad mouse and release him to the park. But yours is a red fox I believe and I saw one intimately in an evergreen forest in northern NY at Mt. Saviour Monastery...contemplative. I was standing amongst spruce and fir (no pun intended) and out came a red fox like yours and then he sat down not 8 feet from me. Then I said psssst...and unexplainably, he left in a hurry.
My grandmother had one of these, but I never saw her wear it. Hers was in much better shape than this one when I used to stroke it lovingly as a preschooler, circa 1950. It must have been quite a fashion statement at one time; now it's a relic of a bygone era.
Amy~ I have been quite lax in catching up on all my favorite blogs (you know how busy we moms can make ourselves)....and WOW!!!! Have you been busy since I last checked/stalked your blog. I am truly amazed at your trip and have found myself for the last 45 minutes alternately laughing and crying through the archives. What a tremendous trip and memories for your family; I am in awe. May this trip continue to bless your family's healing, bringing you comfort and peace in the non-planning, European driving, sightseeing, pilgrimages and enjoyment of each day! I am so completely inspired, thank you!
Off topic: Can you do anything about the PG-rated virtually naked woman that appears in the ads section of your blog? I have a screenshot and page source if that helps.
Sometimes this Beliefnet site really makes me wonder...
jcs, I have a solution for you, plus a better browser. Google "Mozilla Firefox" and download it. It really is a better browser, it will remember your name and email address for you so you don't appear as "Your Name" on a comment, and you can enable Adblock in Firefox so you don't see all those ads. You'll be lots happier.
