I would have to agree with the above comments. I am NOT a Republican and do NOT use the public school system (although I was raised in it:(-There are SO many apathetic teachers who continually drain the finances of this and other states. I believe that GREAT teachers need to be rewarded- but those who oppose this bill have done nothing to address how the great teachers will be rewarded and the not-so-great teachers given cosequences. We need school reform, we need passionate teachers. Additionally, I am SICK of being approached by the SB opponents to sign their petition- they are SO RUDE if someone turns them down.
