From Wikipedia: The Traditional Values Coalition (shortened to TVC) is a Christian Right organization that represents, by its estimate, over 43,000 Christian churches throughout the United States of America. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., its belief is in Bible-based traditional values as “[a] moral code and behavior based upon the Old and New Testaments.” The group considers traditional values to include a belief “that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that the Lord has given us a rule book to live by: The Bible” and a commitment to “living, as far as it is possible, by the moral precepts taught by Jesus Christ and by the whole counsel of God as revealed in the Bible”. The organization was founded by the Reverend Louis P. Sheldon who is the current chairman. His daughter Andrea Sheldon Lafferty is the executive director.

TVC WRITES: Barack Obama wants the nation to believe allowing homosexuals, transgenders, and she-males into America’s armed services is a done deal — but nothing could be further from the truth.
Most Americans don’t realize the fight on gays and transgenders serving in our military is not over.
In fact, it has only just begun.
We’ve scored key victories over the last few weeks to implement our battle plan, and one generous donor has agreed to match every gift over the next 72 hours to protect our chaplains and defend our military from Obama’s grand social experiment with gays in the military.
We don’t have much time.
Here’s what’s getting ready to happen. By June — just in time for “LGBT Pride Month” — Obama wants to demand the military’s compliance to what can only be described as the most massive social experiment in U.S. history, forcing many service members and military chaplains to choose between their vocation and their Christian faith.
You see, most folks believe that “gays in the military” is a done deal.
• …hasn’t Obama said so?
• …isn’t the military brass complying with Obama’s request?
• …hasn’t the mainstream liberal media said so?
• …didn’t Congress vote on this?
• …aren’t liberals in the Senate saying so?
• …isn’t the homosexual lobby saying it’s a “done deal” and telling everyone to just move along?For instance, the liberal media has done a splendid job at concealing from most Americans the sort of gag orders America’s chaplains will be forced to operate under:
New regulations issued to U.S. Navy chaplains now emphatically state that “a chaplain may officiate a same-sex, civil marriage: if it is conducted in accordance with the laws of the state which permits same-sex marriages or union.” What other violations of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) will be permitted?
Traditional Values Coalition is doing everything possible to undo the myth that “gays in the military” is a done deal.
