Al Qaeda Wants To Surgically Implant Bombs – TSA More ‘Interaction With Passengers, Enhanced Tools & Technology’
Pardon me if I do not pass out in shock over this latest news from the Islamic terror front. With every move the Islamizied TSA makes to invade our privacy and ignore our rights, the soldiers of Islam are one step ahead of them.
(CBS New York)–…new intelligence indicates al Qaeda now wants to surgically implant bombs directly into a suicide bomber’s body, reports CBS 2′s Marcia Kramer.
“It’s definitely a change. It makes al Qaeda more lethal,” said Rep. Peter King, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee.
The Transportation Safety Administration is now warning international and domestic airlines traveling to the United States to be on the lookout for these new suicide bombers and to ramp up security.
“The U.S. government has received information, intelligence about terrorist intent to use this type of concealment and this technique to try to carry out plots to blow up planes,” TSA Director John Pistole said.
The agency said new measures will be taken including:
“Interaction with passengers, in addition to the use of other screening methods such as the pat-down and the use of enhanced tools and technologies,” said TSA spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein.

None of the machines the TSA uses can see inside body cavities or underneath skin like a medical X-ray can. Several critics, including members of Congress [3], have cited this inability to challenge TSA’s plans to deploy the scanners at nearly every security lane by 2014. As an example, they point [4] to the 2009 attack at a Saudi palace [5] by a suicide bomber who detonated explosives secreted in his rectum.

The security industry does sell X-ray machines, called transmission scanners, that can see inside body cavities and underneath skin. The Cook County sheriff in Illinoisintroduced [8] such a machine, known as the RadPRO SecurPASS, at its jail in February.

There’s no indication that the TSA has considered such machines, and an agency spokesman declined to answer whether it has. But it would be extremely difficult for the TSA to gain public acceptance of such technology, given the controversy over the privacy and safety of its current body scanners.[Since when has public concern ever stopped the regime?]
A 2006 study by German physicists found that transmission scanners deliver a radiation dose that is 20 to 85 times higher than the backscatter scanners.
The TSA has released several assessments showing that its backscatter machines emit a low dose equivalent to two minutes of a flight at high altitude, but they have not dowsed safety concerns. Last month, the Electronic Privacy Information Center, a civil liberties group that has sued the TSA to suspend the scanner program, released documents showing concerns about cancer diagnoses among airport screeners in Boston.
