Watchwoman: I was searching for another story about an execution carried out in Ohio today when I saw this story from September 10, 2011, that I had never seen before. I was appalled! Outraged! Flabbergasted beyond comprehension! It is beyond any nightmare I think I could ever think of having. If you believe Penn State’s Coach “Jerry” Sandusky is sick having anal sex with a 10-year old boy, well this is just as sick! How any mother could do this to her infant baby is beyond human understanding! Not only did this sick mother rape her tiny infant boy (oral sex) she video taped it and sent it to her boyfriend where her boyfriend’s other girlfriend saw it and gave it to police. He sounds like a real winner, too, aye? There is no end to the sickness and perversion in this world today. Still the public government schools think it is harmful to children to post the Ten Commandments, pray or have a Bible in schools. It’s little wonder we have these perverts and evildoers permeating our world. God have mercy on us! God have mercy on the children. I have not seen anywhere where the Battle Creek boyfriend has been charged with anything who received this infant porn. They should hang him out to dry too! I have searched for items to verify that this really took place because it seems just too impossible. I tracked down Jessup’s indictment (see link below). ▬ Donna Calvin

Ashley Jessup, Don't Forget Her Evil, Sick Face!
::~:~::
SHORT EXCERPT FROM THE ARTICLE: AP – Sat, Sep 10, 2011 - COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio woman is accused of raping her 10-month-old son, videotaping it and sending it to her Michigan boyfriend. Ashley N. Jessup, 24, was indicted in Columbus on Thursday on two counts of rape, one count of child endangerment and one count of pandering sexually-oriented material involving a minor. Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien says the rape charge could land her life in prison. (Read more: http://news.yahoo.com/ohio-mother-charged-raping-infant-son-181918484.html )
EXCERPT FROM HUFFINGTON POST: According to Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney Ron O’Brien, Jessup sexually abused her baby at her Camden Circle home on Aug. 30. She allegedly performed sexual acts on the baby, which she videotaped and emailed to a boyfriend in Battle Creek, Mich. ”They (the boyfriend and the mother) were sending sexually explicit material back and forth to each other,” O’Brien told The Huffington Post. “She then, at his suggestion, sent a video of her engaging in sexual conduct with [her son], along with some other material that was both sexually explicit and unusual.” A former girlfriend of the man discovered the video on Aug. 31 and called the Michigan State Police. ”The state police saw some of the material [and] then contacted the Columbus police and did a search warrant here,” O’Brien said. “They seized her computer, her video camera and some other things.” Following Jessup’s arrest, her infant son was taken into protective custody. Jessup’s mother, who has not been identified, reportedly told WBNS-TV that she was shocked and humiliated by her daughter’s arrest. The baby’s father, Jonathon Vasquez, 19, also of Battle Creek, is now trying to get custody of his son. ”I honestly don’t understand how anyone can do it to their own child. That’s disgusting; it’s ridiculous,” Vasquez told WWMT.

I don’t think the argument is is that posting the Ten Commandments in school is harmful: it is inappropriate. The US was founded on separation of church and state, thus private schools would be an appropriate arena for the Ten Commandments. Because not everyone ascribes to Christianity in public schools, it is not appropriate to adorn the walls with such religious material unless ALL religions are being equally represented. Additionally, I do not see how that is relevant to your argument. Simply because others do not prescribe to your own set of ideas and morals does not in any way mean they are immoral and heathens. Seemingly good Christians have done just as horrible things, so being surrounded by the word of Christ, whether on school walls or in church, has no forbearance on what sort of actions they will engage in. On the other hand, because a person is not Christian does not mean they will do horrible things and are terrible people.

Yeah, so, by your logic, if religion was shoved down these people’s throats, they wouldn’t be perverts? Give me a break.
I am a religious man, but our nation was founded on ideals of religious freedom – what you’re suggesting is unconstitutional.

Watchwoman I can completely concur with your frustration of this woman. So many times stories like these get a little attention for some time and then are practically ignored and never brought up again soon after. People almost expect these things to happen and are nearly okay with them happening in our society.
If this sort of undertaking would have happened decades ago, it would have been talked about for a long time. Who knows what the punishment will be for such an act by this woman and her boyfriend? Surely not a great enough punishment to shy others away from doing such disgusting things.
I appreciate Donna’s re-opening the eyes up of our society so that we can again recognize how horrible this sort of thing is!
