U.S., Yemeni and other intelligence agencies broke up a plot to bomb a U.S. airliner, a U.S. counterrrorism official said.
The plot was discovered before it threatened any Americans, and no airliners were put at risk, the official said. A non-metallic explosive device with similarities to the one used in a failed attempt to bomb a Detroit-bound jet in 2009 was recovered, the official said.
The White House said President Barack Obama was told about the plot in April

You’re right, President George W. Bush said that remark, and I’m sure that if you voted for him the first time around (which I’m 99.9% sure you didn’t) that would have been another reason not to vote for him the second time around, right? So are you going to be stupid enough to vote this November, 2012, for the same kine of foolishness of tongue exercised by Obama that you so pointedly point out about G. W. Bush, aye, PBrown? Here’s an old proverb, not from the Bible, but apropos for the circumstance, “Fool me once … shame on you. Fool me twice … shame on me.” — OR — Vote for Obama twice, shame on PBrown! You sure did fall in the trap set for Democrats on this one, didn’t you. Thank you!
