President Obama recently told the New Republic magazine, ”Up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time.”
Today, after some suggested the president’s claim might not be true, the New Republic tweeted a picture supposedly proving that Obama has gone skeet shooting:

And here’s the picture the magazine pointed to:

The only problem: the picture is a fake, and not hosted on the White House’s website.
Within minutes the magazine had deleted the tweet and admitted its mistake:

Calvin’s Commentary (part 1): If you clicked on the link above to see the picture of Obama supposedly skeet shooting, you’ll find that you got a message “problem loading the page.” That’s because the http://whitehouse.gov photo no longer exists. Even the White House knows it cannot prove the statement made by Obama! But I did the hard work for you and found the picture at another web site still willing to expose the fake photo the New Republic possibly faked (or did it get it from the White House web site? I don’t know. The New Republic blames Twitter for the fake photo and tweet, so I have no idea who to slap the blame on. The left is always quick to back up each other’s butts! So take a gander at your messianic president who is more honest than Abe and more constitutional than Madison. + BTW, just FYI, although the New Republic was sold and purchased by Facebook co-founder the 29-year-old Chris Hughes who apparently had promised to broaden the scoop of the left-leaning magazine; however, it still has has the same current of left of center thought running through its pages. Add this to your FYI list: The New York Times made that claim on January 27, 2013 — and every conservative knows the reputation of the left-leaning New York Times. Carney has never seen a photo of Obama skeet-shooting
Even the White House Propaganda Minister Jay Carney won’t take a shot at this one!
White House press secretary Jay Carney said Monday that he’s not aware of how often President Obama goes skeet shooting at Camp David.
Mr. Carney, asked during a press conference if there was a photograph of the president shooting skeet, replied, “there may be, but I haven’t seen it.”
The suspicion comes after President Obama defended the right for hunters to own guns in a New Republic interview.
“Part of being able to move this forward is understanding the reality of guns in urban areas are very different from the realities of guns in rural areas,” he said.
When asked if he had ever shot a gun, the president replied: “Yes,” the president says, “in fact, up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time.”
After replying that he never saw a photo, Mr. Carney was quick to explain that when President Obama goes to Camp David, “he goes to spend time with his family and friends, not produce photographs.”

Calvin’s Commentary (Part 2): OK, now that you’ve finished reading the above 3 items, think about it…is there any question of Obama’s story telling? Did he make it up? Does he skeet shoot all the time at Camp David? The Teflon Don-bama gets a free pass by everyone. The only one getting any negative press is the New Republic and one shot at Twitter. Amazing! It must be nice to be coated in Teflon. But that’s how it is if you’re a Democrat — you’re exempted by all negative news by the pro-left- socialist-biased news media! Look at the 1st photo. It was photo shopped.
He’s actually holding a golf club,they
substituted it with a rifel. Notice the golf
cap, golf glove in his pocket and golf socks & golf shoes.He’s in his ussual golf attire. Pretty amazing!
