Watchwoman:  Here is the ‘reader’s digest’ version of Fast & Furious as quickly as I can put it for those who do not watch Fox News.  In 2005, under President Bush, they started a sting operation authorizing gun dealers near the Mexican boarder to sell firearms to illegal buyers.  Then at the boarder they would intercept and arrest the illegal buyers.  Then the Obama administration took over and things went south, literally.  Instead of intercepting the illegal buyers at the boarder they allowed them to cross into Mexico with the firearms.  Well, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that once they crossed into Mexico, the US authorities couldn’t track those illegal purchases or the crooks that purchased them any more.  Then they found some of these guns located at the murder scenes of American boarder agents later on.  Speculation by the gun enthusiasts are claiming that the Obama administration in an effort to gain advantage over the 2nd Amendment advocates purposely allowed these guns into Mexico for the express purpose of having them show up in illegal situations where they could claim that the US (them, the DC oligarchy) should make more laws banning guns.  That’s the shortest version I can put in this short space.  But I think you’ll get the idea.  If not, Google “Fast and Furious” and I’m sure you’ll find all kinds of stories to read.  Go to Fox News and search their web site for more information.  I wouldn’t bother with the commie networks of CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, although this story comes from a communist news source, CBS.  So what the heck, maybe they can’t even dance past this anymore.  As for me, I would also be checking out Gun Owners of America’s web site and the National Rifle Association for stories and alerts there.  ▬  Donna Calvin

ATF Manager says he shared Fast and Furious Info with White House

By Sharyl Attkisson
At a lengthy hearing on ATF’s controversial gunwalking operation today, a key ATF manager told Congress he discussed the case with a White House National Security staffer as early as September 2010. The communications were between ATF Special Agent in Charge of the Phoenix office, Bill Newell, and White House National Security Director for North America Kevin O’Reilly. Newell said the two are longtime friends. The content of what Newell shared with O’Reilly is unclear and wasn’t fully explored at the hearing.

It’s the first time anyone has publicly stated that a White House official had any familiarity with ATF’s operation Fast and Furious, which allowed thousands of weapons to fall into the hands of suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels in an attempt to gain intelligence. It’s unknown as to whether O’Reilly shared information with anybody else at the White House.
