Take joy in the everday

What leads to happiness? Is it a positive attitude, a close network of friends, or a close knit family that leads to lasting joy?  Although there may be universal truths for happiness, my hypothesis is that it also  depends on the person. What factors contribute to YOUR happiness?

If I had to name five for myself, they would probably be:

1) Spirtuality/Religion

2) Family

3) Health/Wellbeing

4) Friends/Social Network

5) Fufillment (through work etc…)

What are yours?

Quotes on being happy:

Be happy. It’s one way of being wise.

Precisely the least, the softest, lightest, a lizard’s rustling, a breath, a flash, a moment – a little makes the way of the best happiness.

The greatest happiness you can have is knowing that you do not necessarily require happiness.

People don’t notice whether it’s winter or summer when they’re happy.
