That's the title of a new book by Daniel A. Weiner, an author, university lecturer, and Reform rabbi from Seattle. It's a beautiful book which I read over the weekend, and one which I recommend to anyone looking for an easy, but not simplistic, read about how faith can work in our lives.
Subtitled "Faith for the Rest of Us", this book works to get past the dangerous polarization between fanatical faith and soulless secularism, which pollsters love and most of us reject. Most people are "the rest of us" and this book speaks to that great middle which refuses to be pushed to either extreme.

I found Daniel Weiner's take on the current godless state of affairs to be both apt and timely. It's a very enlightening book that challenges our disbelief and offers more than one way to embrace our need for faith. This book has got to be on the must-read list for any book club that's looking for lively discussion.
