Is God A Christian?
R. Kirby Godsey’s new book, Is God A Christian?, challenges what the author describes as the commonly held belief among many religious people that the God in whom they believe is “one of them”. People, Mr. Kirby observes, too often confuse God’s religious identity with their own, leading t

Remembering 9/11 - Part One
The tenth anniversary of 9/11 brings up many emotions and presents some very real challenges, among them how to remember the past without being imprisoned by it. This video, filmed at St. Paul's, the church closest to the World Trade Center site, is a wonderful example of rising to that challen

Is Realty TV Really Kosher? The Ethics Of Realty TV
I know, at first it seems that ethics and reality TV are about as connected as fire and water – one being the antidote for the other. But perhaps it’s not as simple as that, a conclusion supported by the recent spate of articles arguing that reality TV producers need to create, and commit, to

‘WE KNOW HOW TO DEFUSE THIS BOMB’
I read in the Hamodia this past Shabbat that the FBI, the airlines and Agudah are working with pilots and stewardess and teaching what Tefillin are. The FBI has asked and the rabbis agree, if you are going to put on Tefillin during a flight, tell the stewardess before the flight takes off and if necessary show them to the the staff.

Sadly, my husband passed away suddenly just a month ago. One of the things I miss the most is the ability for us to share information like this and have a good laugh together. When I heard the report of the tefillin sighting on the airliner I thought of him immediately. We would have enjoyed such a good laugh over the incident. We think that in America everybody knows everything about all our religions. this is such an open society. I guess we all still have a lot to learn.

Innocent looking people with tefillin on may not be so innocent. Terrorists are always looking for new ways to kill people. Dressing up as an Orthodox Jew with tefillin, might get them the free pass they seek to board an el al flight, or other air line. Everyone and everything should be suspect unless proven otherwise. Unfortunately, that is now how our society has to live. Thank you, radical Muslims, a society which celebrates death.

We all know that this was to show parady between the treatment of Jews and Muslims. teh phrase traveling while muslim is now “traveling while Jewish.” It only services to pacify the liberals, fail to make the public safer, and it increases our exposure. Its all over.

Your Name is correct. There were homicidial terrorists a.k.a. suicide bombers, that dressed up as Orthodox Jews and detonated themselves on buses in Israel, Jerusalem in particular. They loaded themselves up with shrapnel of bolts, nails, ect. to maximize damage and long suffering death.
