Is God A Christian?
R. Kirby Godsey’s new book, Is God A Christian?, challenges what the author describes as the commonly held belief among many religious people that the God in whom they believe is “one of them”. People, Mr. Kirby observes, too often confuse God’s religious identity with their own, leading t

Remembering 9/11 - Part One
The tenth anniversary of 9/11 brings up many emotions and presents some very real challenges, among them how to remember the past without being imprisoned by it. This video, filmed at St. Paul's, the church closest to the World Trade Center site, is a wonderful example of rising to that challen

Is Realty TV Really Kosher? The Ethics Of Realty TV
I know, at first it seems that ethics and reality TV are about as connected as fire and water – one being the antidote for the other. But perhaps it’s not as simple as that, a conclusion supported by the recent spate of articles arguing that reality TV producers need to create, and commit, to

Israel, America will always stand with you. Make it easier for us once in a while, will you?

Israel has always stood for peace. Not once in its 61+ year existence has it “invaded” any of its neighbors for political or economic gain. Each war has been either a response to aggression from its arab neighbors, or a pre-emptive strike in order to defend itself from potential harm.
Israel is entitled to enjoy freedom from aggression and security of its borders. Moreover, Israel is entitled to take whatever pre-emptive measure it (not US) deems necessary to protect itself from those that seek its destruction.

Let the US declare that an attack on Isreal is an attack on the US. Then let Isreal take the initiative fo help Palestine beoome an independent nation and be a good helpful neighbor. Enough is enough.

Israel should never declare any bitterness against anybody no matter
how bad those arab nations treat Israel,if there’s a nation to represent the image and likeness of Jesus Christ,it should come first from this country, and let the peace that Jesus leaves for the people be seen first from them above all nations, that there is an evidence of a solid foundation of faith that if God be for them, who could be against them, the chosen race among all people should manifest upon this nation, where even a superpower country like the US needs not be solicited for support in case of attack, because there is a God who controls, preserves and sustains peace in the world.
thanks!

YOUR NAME, who commented on Marc 9, 2010:
Your comment makes no sense on several levels. 1. Nations who do not defend themselves don’t last long. 2. What does CHristianity have to do with the State of Israel, which is a Jewish State. Sacrificing yourself is not what we should be encouraging the State of Israel to do. Israel must defend herself.

I would pray that Vice President Joe Biden would be in prayer before he goes into any talks with Israel. And stay in prayer until he gets a answer from God as to what to say to Israel.
