Researcher and author, David Wilcock, produced a book heavy with evidence of an unseen force at work in the universe. The book, The Source Field Investigations, contains a cache of records and data from around the world describing what is usually chalked up to as mysteries. Near death experiences, dreams, pyramid power, and energetically driven evolution are a few of the mysteries examined.

“The Source Field is the key to unlock all of these mysteries,” writes Wilcock in his Preface. In Chapter One, Wilcock wrote, “And best of all, these discoveries are very positive—ultimately proving that most people’s idea of a loving God is, in fact, alive and well.”

When reading The Source Field Investigations I can’t help but compare and contrast to the knowledge I’ve gained through the study and practice of divine Science as found in the book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

The study of divine Science pushes the subject of a loving God to include God as infinite Love itself. This releases the mind from falling back on the prong that makes God humanlike or measurable, which is what happened in Chapter three of The Source Field Investigations when Wilcock wrote, “I want to make it clear that I do not consider the Source Field to be some abstract, metaphysical idea. I agree with many Russian scientists who have concluded that the Source Field is directly measurable—as a spinning current within gravity.”

Granted, metaphysical ideas do appear abstract at first however they become obvious with time and experience. For example, experience teaches us that measurable units can only lead to exploitation, ownership, and loss. Anytime we believe our source of happiness and health comes from a measurable unit, the negative human nature rears its ugly head and starts claiming possessiveness, envy, suspicion, and disappointment.

I’ll keep reading The Source Field Investigations because Wilcock’s desire shows promise. However, divine Science points out the simplicity of yielding to an infinite resource for health and happiness. We read in 21^st Century Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, “A limited mind manifests all sorts of anomalies, and causes the mind-in-matter theory to be seen as conflictive. No one has found temporal mind, life, or love sufficient to satisfy the demands of human lack and anguish. Our desires and aspirations ache to be fulfilled and a reward is felt when we stop limiting infinite Mind to finite resources. Infinite Mind can’t lose its character as inexhaustible Love, eternal Life, omnipotent Truth.”
