Centricity Records signs Andrew Peterson

Monday July 21, 2008

Categories: Christian music news

Here's some great news: Centricity Records has signed singer/songwriter Andrew Peterson to their label. Peterson will release his label debut, The Resurrection Letters, Vol II on October 21, 2008.

Peterson's own credits include the Top 10 radio hit "Nothing to Say" and a Dove Award nomination for his song "Family Man." His previous releases include Carried Along, Clear to Venus, Love and Thunder, Behold The Lamb of God and The Far Country.

Andrew Peterson is a great artist, not just a great musician, which isn't something you can say about a lot of Christian artists. Deeply connected to the artistry that is born from an intimate connection with the Creator, he creates not just songs but introspective poetry set to music.

Yeah, I'm a big fan. Plus, at GMA a couple of years ago, we had an interesting chat over Mexican food about Jesus junk, like Bobblehead Jesus.

Peterson is the host of The Rabbit Room blog, where like-minded artists gather to share their thoughts on art.

You can learn more about Andrew Peterson by visiting his website www.andrew-peterson.com. (Make sure you have the dash in there.)

Here's a clip of Andrew on the Faith Cafe, singing "I've Got News."
