posted by Janice Taylor, Editor | 11:00am Wednesday April 8, 2009

Today is National Walking Day. In commemoration of this day, here follows …
… The Benefits of Walking by Janice Taylor
(excerpt from her best-selling book, Our Lady of Weight Loss: Miraculous and Motivational Musings from the Patron Saint of Permanent Fat Removal)
From stress reduction to less incidence of cancer, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes, the benefits of walking are amazing! Some even say walking relieves constipation and helps cure impotence.
Walking stimulates the brain release endorphins and increases the production of the neurotransmitter serotonin, the body’s natural mood elevator. Literally, walking makes us happy.
Walking gives us the biggest bang for our buck; it is the simplest and easiest way to exercise for most people.
Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence and third president of the United States, believed that “of all exercises, walking is the best.”
It seems our patriotic duty is to walk!
Here are a few ideas from Our Lady of Weight Loss on how to increase your daily steps.

The Dr Max Powers HGH Spray is GREAT for anyone looking to increase their virility and libido. Unlike testosterone creams and gels that can be messy, smelly or ineffective, this HGH spray is a nice booster that can be used discretely to avoid embarrassment.
I like the Dr Max HGH spray because I can slip into the restroom on a date and take 2 or 3 squirts full without my date knowing. However, the effects of this product are subtle. You won’t become a raging bull instantly but if you use it daily and then double up before lovemaking you will notice a difference.

Walking stimulates peristalsis. Peristalsis is the wave-like contractions in your alimentary canal that push your food down the oesophagus to the rectum. The more exercise you do, the better this rhythmic movement becomes and this serves to reduce your transit time (time taken for the food to go through your system to elimination) and cure constipation.
The key to curing this debilitating condition is to get adequate hydration, eat enough fibre and exercise!

Walking increases your bowel’s peristaltic movement, so it’s also a natural method to prevent constipation.
